For the opening of the festival Nordic Music Days we have commissioned a new piece for carillon by the excellent composer Ellen Lindquist.
It will be performed Wednesday 13th at 14:00 local time (Central European time) on the Carillon in Bodø, by Vegar Sandholt.
We have an idea that it would be fun to have the carillon piece played simultaneously other places around the world. We have a few confirmed ones in USA and Nordic countries already. Would it be possible for you to take part?
We will put everyone participating on our web, and we are also interested in streaming some of it.

Unfortunately, we do not have any fees for you who are not in Bodø, so it’s a voluntary way to mark Nordic Music Days in Erfurt – with carillon!

Zur Eröffnung des Festivals „Nordic Music Days“ in Bodø/Norwegen haben wir ein neues Stück für Glockenspiel in Auftrag gegeben, das von der exzellenten Komponistin Ellen Lindquist stammt.
Es wird am Mittwoch, den 13. November 2019 um 14:00 Uhr Ortszeit (mitteleuropäische Zeit) am Carillon in Bodø von Vegar Sandholt aufgeführt.
Wir haben die Idee, dass es Spaß machen würde, das Glockenspiel gleichzeitig an anderen Orten der Welt zu spielen.
Wir haben bereits einige bestätigte Teilnahmen in den USA und in den nordischen Ländern. Wer würde noch teilnehmen?
Wir werden alle Teilnehmer auf unsere Webseite setzen, und wir sind auch daran interessiert, einige davon zu streamen.

Leider kann für Aufführungen außerhalb der Stadt Bodø kein Honorar gezahlt werden.
Es ist also eine freiwillige Möglichkeit, die Nordic Music Days in vielen Städten Deutschlands zu feiern – mit Carillon!
